Abstract
This thesis holds the title (Rewayat al-hadeeth 'ind al-'ibadieh), and it generally discusses the view of 'ibadieh to the prophetic sunnah and their contribution in preserving it.
The researcher divided this thesis into an introduction, two parts and a conclusion.
In the introduction, the researcher discussed the importance of the subject, and how non-discussion of it caused a lack in writings about the efforts of Moslems in reporting the hadeeth.
The first part is entitled (History of reporting hadeeth at 'ibadieh), which was divided into four chapters:
Chapter one: The researcher discussed the importance of sunnah at 'ibadieh, then mentioned the parts of sunnah at 'ibadieh, and explained that sunnah is divided as what has been said, acted, and approved by Prophet Mohammad. It is also divided as what has been received by us through mutawater, 'ahaad, accepted and rejected according to correct, good and weak. The disconnected is divided into mursal, munqate', mu'addal, and mu'allaq. The researcher also mentioned the judgement of 'ibadieh on each type and listed those who agreed with them or went against them of other sects. Then the researcher discussed the efforts of 'ibadieh in telling hadeeth, and explained the extent of 'ibadieh's interest in hadeeth, in listening, telling and writing it. Then mentioned narration books of 'ibadieh in general.
